The College of horticulture and forestry neri hamirpur, nagar taluka. is a college situated in Neri hamirpur, nagar taluka, Maharashtra state. This college is under the head of government of Maharashtra. This college was established in 1966. The main attraction of this college is that the college is being given for forest and nature friendly courses. This college is one of the best college in Neri hamirpur. College is having a well equipped laboratory where students get the facility of doing practical works.
Colleges affiliated to University of Maharashtra are considered to be colleges of higher education and confer undergraduate degrees or higher degrees depending on their programmes. Colleges with affiliated postgraduate and doctoral programmes are referred to as "research institutions" in academia.
History
The College of horticulture and forestry neri hamirpur, nagar taluka was established on 18 August 1966 and it started functioning from the first batch students. The college was established by H.V. Babulal Patil as a "Collegiate Institution" under "Central College of Horticulture, Nagpur" and was approved by the Department of Education of Government of Maharashtra on 8.2.1965. Since its inception this college has grown to become one of the leading institutes of Maharashtra. At present, the college is functioning under the University of Nagpur for Bachelor degree and under University of Nagpur for master degree and Ph.D in all the relevant subjects with affiliation under Maharashtra state.

The College also maintains an Industry Liaison Office to help the Industry in identifying the best courses suitable for the students. The College also has an extension education research centre, called the "Agroforestry Institute of Pakistan (AIP)" at Chitral, a small town, 80 ,km from Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of six research centres are maintained by the AIP. The centre is mainly involved in the research and demonstration of tree planting techniques.

Student life
The college has two hostels, one for boys and one for girls. Both hostels are located opposite to each other. There are a separate boys' mess and a girls' mess. The classrooms are located in different wings.
